A particular highlight in Viehhofen is the illuminated winter path along the Saalach. From the church, an illuminated path leads over the Burgstein Bridge to the Glemmerhof inn at the entrance to the village. In the other direction, the riverside path to Rottenbach is lit and continues alongside the Saalach as far as Exenbach.
